Spring break!

4 Apr

That’s right, I have free time again.  I basically didn’t do any knitting in March, so that tells you just how crazy it was getting caught up from those three weeks of no school at work. I did manage to finish my Lemongrass Socks, although they weren’t in time for a Ravelympics medal. Speaking of Ravelry, you can now access projects on it even if you’re not a member, as long as they’ve been shared. So anyone can follow that link and see my socks now. :)

Today I’m finishing up the Stormcloud Shawl. I put it aside for a few months to do presents and then the socks, but I picked it back up this week and have finally gotten to the end of my yarn. (I was able to do 14 rather than the 10 expected repeats of the feather and fan section). I just started binding it off, so I hope to finish that up today and get it blocked this week. I have already succumbed to temptation and ordered a bunch more Wool Candy yarn from Fiber Fix. They didn’t have any of the bamboo merino, so I’m got a few skeins of her 100% superwash merino and a skein of the DK merino to try. Now I’m not allowed to buy yarn for several months. :)

I’ve been having trouble figuring out what to knit next. Too many choices! I have the scarf for Jasper for tv knitting, but I need something new and interesting to hold my attention. Problem is, I can’t even decide what sort of thing I want to knit.
